Arrived in Budapest early afternoon and was delayed at the airport as President Erdogan of Turkey was leaving the city and the roads were temporarily closed. We were staying the the Mercure Buda hotel on the Buda side of the city.
In the evening we were given a guided tour around the castle area which was very nice and afforded great views over the city.

As part of this year’s technical seminar we took our clients to see a Premier League football match. Having had a very nice meal in The Gallery overlooking the pitch, we watched Leicester beat Swansea 2-0 to move off the bottom of the table. The highlight was the atmosphere inside the stadium which was superb throughout from the Leicester fans.…
